It provides a perfect "Mediterranean break" with its warm climate and turquoise waters before we head inland to Cappadocia.

Are the WWI memorials of Gallipoli and the ancient city of Troy visited on the same day?
These two sites are located near each other across the Dardanelles. We usually spend a dedicated amount of time at the Gallipoli memorials to honor the history of ANZAC Cove, then cross the strait to visit Troy. This allows our guests to experience two vastly different but equally significant historical eras in one profound segment of the journey.
